Vogue sewing pattern for Evening or mid-knee length full strapless dress is gathered onto full underdress with foundation. Self bias tube bow or ribbon bow is under bustline. 2 1/4" hem allowed on dress. Narrow hem for sheers.

FABRICS: Dress and Underdress: Brocade, Crepe, Satin, Silk. Also for Dress: Sheer fabrics such as Chiffon, Voile. Foundation: Taffeta. Underlining (for non-sheer dress): China Silk. Underlining (for sheer dress): Sheers. Hem Interfacing: Cotton Flannel. Unsuitable for obvious diagonals.
Note: Fabric requirement allows for nap, one-way design or shading. Extra fabric may be needed to match design or for shrinkage.
